This bulb is polarity specific. If it doesn’t work one way, turn it around and snap it into the holder.

Rotate the Three 5730 LEDs toward the area you want to light for maximum brightness. To lessen the light, rotate the bulb in the fixture until the desired brightness is achieved.
The 5500K-Day White version is pure white light. The 3200K-Warm White version is more like the light color of an incandescent bulb.
The 3200K is best used for the floor lighting as it is a softer color and is normally used for night lights and is easier on the eyes.
The 5500K is best used for stairway lighting as it is a WHITER higher contrast light.
The best way to install this bulb is to REMOVE the fixture from the stairway or floor. FIRST, turn off the power to the fixture and remove the incandescent bulb. Then turn the power back on and touch the LED to the contacts in the fixture. If the bulb lights, you’re good to go. If not, turn the bulb around, it will light. Remember the proper way to insert the bulb, turn off the power, insert the bulb in the clips, replace the fixture and you are good to go. You may rotate the bulb in the fixture to give more or less light as needed.
The 3-5730 HIGH-INTENSITY LEDs deliver 180 Lumens in place of your incandescent bulb but will draw less than 3% of the power. . .Making your house batteries last longer. This is a VERY BRIGHT LED Fuse Style replacement for all your not-so-bright existing floor and stairwell bulbs. This bulb is polarity sensitive, so if it doesn’t work the way you installed it, just turn it around the other way.

I’m happy 🙂 The directional orientation worked great for the glass display on the AM/FM bar for my Zenith Radio that I’m upgrading almost every old component in. The bar works weird as it uses drilled holes in the glass to reflect the light, and requires light to shine directly through a small slit; something that the old glass bulb did perfect but this LED does brighter
