LED replacements, December 6, 2013
I ordered three for the bath and a half in my Revolution. They are much brighter than the tubes they replaced, which is what I was hoping for. The mail service was very fast (three days) and they were easy to install. I will now look at buying some to replace the 18 inch fixtures I have.

Outstanding product!, October 31, 2013
Bought this item to replace the dim fluorescent tubes in our RV bathroom. Ordered the “BRIGHTER” setup to ensure enough light since LEDs have notoriously produced less light than expected. Boy, was I ever surprised!! Perfect lighting, when I expected less. Some may want a little less light in a “commode closet” that only has the toilet in it (and should buy the standard assembly); but, the “BRIGHTER” assembly is much better for reading… I’m ordering the regular one for over the kitchen sink and, later, another one for over the kitchen counter. I also may use two of the 18″ assemblies in each of our two 36″ lights in the living room that we use as our main light source. Installation was a breeze. I did use a pair of needle nose pliers to crimp a “relief” where the wires run under the ballast cover so there is less pressure on the wires. Also, I drilled out the rivets that held the ballast and sockets, and removed everything before starting the installation. I can’t say enough good things when I find a product that lives up to it’s advertising this well!

Totally easy to install, brighter then the original florescent bulbs. lights up the bathroom nicely, lots less heat and power consumption.

I replaced my 12″ fluorescent fixtures in my Fleetwood Revolution with the “Cabin Bright” FLED/R12-96 and am more than pleased! Not only is the product brighter than the old fixtures but the light is purer and only uses about 1/4 of the power. Installation was a snap in fact my grandson (13 years old) installed the LED’s in one of the larger (18″ fixtures) with only minimal assistance and it was the only electrical wiring that he has ever done. Would recommend for anyone looking for better lighting and less energy drain on their system.

Excellent alternative to fluorescents, September 15, 2013
I used Cabin-Bright LEDs to replace the fluorescent bulbs in a pair of 2-bulb ceiling fixtures with blown ballasts. It was an easy installation and I didn’t even remove the old ballasts. I checked the color and brightness in comparison to an identical fluorescent fixture and they were very similar in appearance, and almost identical in intensity using a foot-candle meter at a given distance. For this application, the 3200K color is perfect. Since we live in a solar powered RV, we especially appreciate the difference in energy requirements of the Cabin Brights at 7.5 watts (measured) compared to the fluorescent fixtures at 16 watts.
