These 12 SMD bulbs were developed for the 24-volt RVs and boats. They work in 12-volt environments as well. They DO fit in the ceiling puck lights so prevalent in our boats and RVs. The 3200K-Warm White bulbs are used in the bedroom or anywhere you would like a soft light. The 4100K-Neutral White bulbs are best suited for kitchen or galley table, recliner, and over the couch. The 5500K-Day White is a high-contrast light best suited for task lighting. Over the captain’s chairs, engine rooms, or other places where you would turn on the light, do something and turn it off again. A lot of customers refer to the 5500K as the BRIGHTER bulb. This is not the case. All the bulbs are exactly the same amount of lumens. The WHITER bulbs SEEM brighter, but they are not. They just appear that way because they are whiter.
The 15-5730 LEDs produce 300% more light than your JC10 or JC20 halogen bulbs you are replacing but will draw less than 7% of the power. . .Making your house batteries last longer.
