At first I was a little skeptical of the claims of this bulb. Boy was I surprised! This bulb is WAY brighter than the 921 bulb I replaced. After leaving it on for 8 hours straight, I was able to touch the bulb and it was only just slightly warm. I will be replacing all 40 of my puck lights with this bulb. Thank you Cabin Bright for a great product.

Lots of options on lights so I emailed Joe to see which ones would work best for me. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and recommended these as replacements in my Jayco Jayflight trailer. Before swapping them out, I turned on the two light fixtures in the living area that have 2 bulbs each. With the four bulbs on, I was drawing 5 amps off the battery. I swapped just those four bulbs and my current dropped to 1/2 amp. I replaced all 20 of the bulbs in my camper and can turn them all on and still draw only 2.5 amps which is half of what just my living area fixturuhes drew before. Based on Joe’s recommendation, I went with the warm color (3200 K) for all fixtures except under the sink and over the bed for reading. I wanted to try a few of each type just to see the difference. They do seem brighter than the old, lights during the daytime anyway. Look forward to trying them out for real on the next camping/hunting trip. I bought these 9-5730s for all of my indoor fixtures and the wedge base 24-5730 with the pigtail for my outdoor fixture. I just installed mine last week so can’t comment on longevity, but Joe said he’d back them up and I have no reason to doubt that. LEDs should last a long time. I kept the old bulbs to swap out if I ever sell the trailer. They seem to be a really nice product designed by a nice guy.
If you like to boondock and battery life matters to you, these are a big win over the standard bulbs that came in my Jayflight.

Hi Joe,
We ordered a batch of lights from you not too long ago. Somehow we managed to overlook the light above the kitchen sink in our trailer. Wifey found it and gave me hell! So that’s why the order is so small. Now every light in/on our trailer is LED. Man, what a ‘life changing experience’ these things provide. As 90% boon-dockers (with solar and an inverter), we used to use battery powered lanterns at night because the traditional lights drew so much power. Now we can sit in bright lights at night just as if we were plugged in.
