The LEDs on the edge of the bulb double the beam angle of this bulb to 240°

Joe’s Tip:
These bulbs are traditionally for the marine market. The 6 (3 on each side) LEDs on the edge double the beam angle of this bulb to 240° lighting the entire nav lens. The small size (31mm) is typically found in some navigation lights (usually Perko). When using this bulb for a nav light, it is better to select the 3200K as it’s soft yellow light is more compatible with the red and green lenses. The 5500K has a tendency to wash out the colored lenses.
