These bulbs are for the marine market. This size (43mm) is typically found in navigation lights, usually Perko and others. It delivers a 360° beam of light and is a little more than TWICE as bright as the FNAV-12. Before ordering please check the clearance in the fixture for proper fit. When using this bulb for a nav light, it is better to select the 3200K as it’s soft yellow light is more compatible with the red and green lenses. The 5500K has a tendency to wash out the colored lenses and is better suited for anchor, mast and steaming lights.
